The 2011 Academy Awards show was not a night to remember. There were no surprises (with Best Director being the only exception) and very little entertainment.

The highlight of the evening were the fantastic opening movie where Anne Hathaway and James Franco travel through through the nominated films, Inception style. The few other highlights were:

• The Best Movie montage
• Anne Hathaway's On My Own song
• Celine Dion's Smile
• The Music Video with  Harry Potter and Twilight
• Billy Crystal and Kirk Douglas
