There are so many apps for mobile devices created every day; how can you possibly find apps that would be right for you. Sure, recommendations from friends are always great, but that will only take you so far. Below are a few great ways to find your own apps:

1. Appitalism - A new, very unique website that not only sells apps for all platforms - Apple, Android, Blackberry, Facebook, Twitter and ebook readers - but is also a social community as well. The site's social features empowers members to collectively determine the best apps and content for every device. Once you find an app, you can buy it directly through a link from the site.

2. AppShopper - Both a website and an App, it is a great way to find apps for the Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. My favorite part is the What's New category where you can just see the list on new apps with reviews. You can also set up an account and AppShopper will keep track of all your apps and a wish list. You can also browse the top 200 most popular apps in any category.

3. Best iPhone Apps 2d (2010) Book - If you sometimes still like to do things old school, then this is the book for you. All the best iPhone apps have already been weeded out, so there is no searching left for you. Just go to the category chapters that interest you and you'll have what you need.
