By this time next week, we will be hearing The Beatle's songs everywhere. Not only is The Beatles: Rock Band finally coming out on September 9, 2009, but on the same day, reissues of their albums will also be available for sale. This would be a grand comeback if The Beatles had ever left.

If you want to get prepared and read about the Beatles and see great photographs of them, then the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, going on sale tomorrow, September 4, 2009 is the place to go. EW will attempt to rank the 50 best Beatles songs, not an easy task since they are all so great. The magazine will also include a gallery of rare behind-the-scene photographs.

As for The Beatles: Rock Band, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison were very much a part to putting it together. The games includes 45 songs from throughout the time the The Beatles recorded, never before seen photos and audio clips of the band in the studio. This is one video game that I am looking forward to my family playing.

I think this game could be a lot of fun - I just wish that VH1 Classics hadn't been in "overkill" mode lately. It would have made the game and the magazine reading a lot more enjoyable.

I've always loved the Beatles, not as much as Elvis, but almost. The game sounds extremely interesting, but unfortunately I don't think the family will appreciate it as much as myself as they have different musical tastes.
