I've already written a few times on Connect with your Teens about movies for teenagers. I wanted to take another look at teen movies, but just the ones that both star and are about teenagers. I could not narrow this down to a top 10 or even a top 20. So here is my list of the top 35 best movies about teens, in chronological order:

Great list. Kudos for putting Rebel without a Cause, Heathers, Election, and especially Ghost World. There are lots of other great ones here too. :)
American Pie is the best movie in that list that I have seen. Cool, funny and just plain honest. The cast' funny antics made me cry laughing.
Good list. I would've put Gregory's Girl and Flirting somewhere in there.

This list is great, but you need to add a few more that just hit the tops; New Moon, thirteen, and maybe Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. PS NO TWILIGHT

Great List! I would also include with Rebel Without a Cause, The Wild One. These old films do make teenagers look old! Also, how about the X-Men and The Blair Witch Project.
Ugh, I hate Superbad. I think Kick-Ass should take its place. 10 times better :)
Breakfast Club has to be my favourite - archetypal 80's flick.
